1. Who we are and what this site is

goodbettingsites.co.uk publishes comparisons of betting offers from bookmakers licensed by the Gambling Commission for the Great Britain market, along with calculators and explanatory guides. We are an independent publisher. We are not a bookmaker, we do not accept bets, we do not hold client money and we are not regulated by the Gambling Commission, because publishing comparisons is not a licensable activity.

2. You must be 18 or over

It is illegal to gamble in Great Britain if you are under 18. By using this site you confirm that you are 18 or over. We do not knowingly provide offer information to anyone younger, and we will not send offer alerts to an address we have reason to think belongs to a child.

3. How we are paid, and what it does not buy

Most offer links on this site are affiliate links. If an offer is live and you open an account or place a qualifying bet through it, the bookmaker may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing, and the offer you get is the same one you would get by going to the bookmaker directly.

Commission does not buy position. We order offers by our own estimate of what they are worth to you after their terms — the calculation is set out openly on our free bet calculator so you can check it — and we list operators we have no commercial arrangement with wherever that calculation puts them. If we ever cannot list an operator for a reason other than merit, we will say so rather than quietly leave them out.

4. Nothing here is advice, and nothing here is a prediction

We publish no tips, no predictions, no ratings of likely outcomes and no systems. Our guides explain how bets and odds work; they do not tell you what to bet on. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and betting is not an investment. You are responsible for your own betting decisions and for any money you lose.

We will not describe any offer as risk free, guaranteed, or a way to make money, because no offer is any of those things. Any claim to the contrary that appears on this site is an error — please report it.

5. Offer information: accuracy and its limits

We read offers off the bookmaker's own terms and note when we checked. Bookmakers change offers frequently, without notice, and sometimes show different offers to different customers depending on location, device or account history. So:

• An offer here may have changed or ended since we checked it.
• The offer you are actually shown by the bookmaker governs, not our summary of it.
• Eligibility, minimum odds, expiry periods, payment-method exclusions and wagering requirements are the bookmaker's to set and enforce.
• Where an offer here is marked as sample or unverified data, it is exactly that, and must not be relied on at all.

Always read the bookmaker's full terms before depositing. If you find something on this site that is out of date or wrong, please tell us at hello@goodbettingsites.co.uk and we will correct it.

6. The calculators

The calculators are provided for information. They run in your browser and we believe the arithmetic is correct, but the free-bet valuation in particular rests on assumptions you choose — the odds you would use and the bookmaker's margin — and produces an average over many repeats, not a forecast of any single bet. Do not treat any figure on this site as a promise of a return.

7. Disputes with a bookmaker

We have no part in your relationship with a bookmaker and cannot intervene in a dispute, a withheld bonus, a closed account or a withdrawal problem. Take it up with the operator first; if you get nowhere, they must offer you an approved alternative dispute resolution service, and you can report the operator to the Gambling Commission.

8. Our content

The text, guides, calculators, code and design on this site are ours and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to link to any page. Please do not republish substantial parts of it as your own. Bookmaker names and marks belong to those companies and are used to identify their offers.

9. Availability and liability

We try to keep the site accurate and available but we do not guarantee either, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for betting losses, for losses arising from reliance on offer information that had changed, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. None of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
